Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bestall Ventures, LLC ("Bestall Ventures", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of the RegressionBot service, API, SDK, and Agentic Workflow integrations (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Visual Testing Scope and Definitions

For the purposes of this agreement:

  • "Target Application" refers to the web application, website, or digital asset identified by you for visual validation through the Service.
  • "Screenshots" refer to images, captured DOM states, and associated assets (CSS/JS) collected to render the visual state of a Target Application.
  • "Baselines" refer to the verified Screenshots representing the expected, "Golden" visual state of a given environment.
  • "Checkpoints" refer to individual visual test executions against a specific URL and device profile.

3. Use License and Restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to use RegressionBot solely for the purpose of visual testing your Target Applications. You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
  • Use the Service to test domains, staging environments, or internal networks you do not own or have explicitly been authorized to scan;
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or maliciously overload any software or infrastructure contained within RegressionBot;
  • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

4. Data, Content, and Improvement

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to your Target Application content. By using RegressionBot, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to capture, store, and process Screenshots and Checkpoints solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Furthermore, you agree that RegressionBot may use anonymized, de-identified, and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service to monitor, analyze, and improve our algorithms, visual comparison engines, and overall service performance. This aggregated data will never identify you or your specific Target Application.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that sensitive data (such as PII) is appropriately masked using the tools provided by the Service prior to capture.

5. Free Trial

New organizations receive a free trial period of seven (7) days or five hundred (500) screenshot comparisons, whichever limit is reached first. No payment information is required to start a trial. When a trial expires, access to running new visual regression tests is suspended until a paid subscription is activated. Your historical test results and account data remain accessible during and after the trial period.

6. Subscription Plans and Fees

Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly basis. All subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. Prices listed on our website are exclusive of applicable taxes; taxes are calculated and collected by our payment processor based on your billing address and jurisdiction.

When you purchase a RegressionBot subscription, you acknowledge and agree that you are authorizing recurring payments. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice; any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following notification.

Each paid plan includes a monthly comparison limit. Comparisons reset at the start of each billing period. Unused comparisons do not roll over.

7. Merchant of Record — Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all of our orders. When you purchase a subscription, you are transacting directly with Paddle, and charges will appear on your bank or credit card statement under the name "PADDLE.NET*" or similar.

Paddle is responsible for:

  • Collecting and remitting applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, and other consumption taxes in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction;
  • Handling customer service enquiries and returns related to billing and payment;
  • Processing payment disputes and chargebacks;
  • Issuing invoices and receipts for your subscription payments.

By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and acknowledge Paddle's Privacy Policy. For billing enquiries, payment issues, or tax receipts, you may contact Paddle directly via their support portal at paddle.com/support.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain full access to the Service until that date, after which your account will revert to a suspended state and no further charges will be made.

To cancel, navigate to Admin → Billing → Manage Billing and follow the steps in the Paddle customer portal. You may also contact us at support@regressionbot.com and we will process the cancellation on your behalf.

9. Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with RegressionBot. Because all payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, the following refund policy applies:

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: You are eligible for a full refund on your purchase or subscription within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date. If you request a refund within this 14-day window, it will be granted without any questions asked, qualifiers, or exceptions.
  • How to Request a Refund: To request a refund, please contact us at support@regressionbot.com or submit a request directly through the Paddle support portal at paddle.net. Please provide your email address and/or the Paddle order ID to help us process it quickly.
  • Duplicate Charges and Technical Errors: If you are charged incorrectly or experience duplicate billing due to a technical error, we will issue a full refund immediately upon verification.

All approved refunds are processed by Paddle and will be returned to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear in your account within five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on your financial institution.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials on RegressionBot are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RegressionBot makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall RegressionBot, its affiliates, or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RegressionBot's total aggregate liability under this agreement shall be strictly limited to the total fees paid by you to RegressionBot in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

12. Modifications

RegressionBot may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this Service you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Service.
