1. Information We Collect

When you use RegressionBot, we collect information that you provide to us directly, such as when you register for an account, and the URLs of the Target Applications you choose to test.

We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our Services, including IP addresses, browser types, log files, and usage data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you, and to personalize your experience. The screenshots we capture as part of our visual regression testing are stored securely and used exclusively for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We may also use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated data for research and analysis to improve our visual comparison algorithms and service performance. **Anonymized data is not considered Personal Data.**

AI Training Commitment: We have a strict "Privacy by Design" policy. We do not use your raw customer code, proprietary DOM snapshots, or non-anonymized screenshots to train our underlying AI models without your explicit, written opt-in.

3. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Screenshots, baselines, and test results are stored in isolated tenant partitions.

Our standard data retention policies are as follows:

  • Test Builds: Retained for 30 days (Community) or 90 days (Enterprise).
  • Baselines: Retained for the duration of the project.
  • Account Data: Retained until account deletion.

You may request earlier deletion of specific test data through your dashboard.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Right to Access: The right to be informed of and request access to the personal data we process about you.
  • Right to Rectification: The right to request that we amend or update your personal data where it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to Erasure: The right to request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to Data Portability: The right to request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers (such as AWS for hosting) who assist us in operating our platform, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential and comply with data processing standards.
